Welcome back to part 2 of the 2-part series called “questions, questions”!

We can bring all our needs and all our questions to God in prayer as:

1. Prayers spoken by faith and prayers not seeming to go past the ceiling.
2. Prayers for receiving God’s plans and rejecting my own.
3. Prayers in listening and longing.
4. Prayer with acceptance and awe and without acknowledging my own understanding.
5. Prayers for those I love and those I should love.
6. Prayers for insight, inspiration, and against natural inclinations.
7. Prayers for hope, help, hearts opened, and hands strengthened.

And we can know this forever truth: gloriously, no matter the prayer or the pray-er, God is able.

For if you really think about it, aren’t prayers just questions we can’t answer by or for ourselves?

But no matter what questions or needs we have, God wants us to come to Him for His answers in His way, His will, His working, and His wisdom. For only God can use questions and prayers to change our days, our lives, our world, one answer at a time from one prayer at a time.

That reality of prayer making things happen is the simply complex and truly satisfying beauty of prayer (James 5:16 MSG).

The God Who knows every question and question-er of all time and loves all of us far more than we could ever ask or imagine wants us to come and to tell Him all about everything (see Philippians 4:6-7).

Or in David’s words from Psalm 8:4 ESV which say this: what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

God knows it all – the doubts and the decisions, the faith and the fears, the guilt and the giving-over, the selfishness and the sacrifice.

Nothing and no one is hidden from God (see Hebrews 4:14).

And there in the praying, God reminds us He always loves and leads and He never forsakes or leaves (see Hebrews 13:5-8).

God always holds us fast and never lets us go, even if our questions and prayers seem unheard or beyond answering.

For always and only God can provide so we are never lacking when we find our surety and security, satisfaction and salvation in no source except God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (see Psalm chapter 23 and Romans 9:25).

And that’s the best answer anyone could ever say or pray, receive or believe!
