The Nevertheless Project is set to launch September 9-12, 2026 from Abundance Books Publishing. This launch coincides with the 2026 Annual Meetings of the American Association of Christian Counselors in Arlington, TX.*
Thank you, Union University, West Jackson Baptist Church, and so many friends and family for the resources to make this project possible. (Including my husband and his kindness in not complaining when I burned supper from forgetting about it while working on this project (and multiple times, at that)!)
This project consists of the following:
- Nevertheless: Finding Hope in Suffering – an inspirational book using ideas from Scripture and science to remind us of this truth: there’s always hope because there’s always Jesus.
- Nevertheless: Stories of God’s Goodness – a series of short videos with the stories of people who’ve trusted God with their lives in the hardest of places, including divorce, mental health, death of a child, widowhood, infertility, special needs children, chronic illness, and cancer.
- Nevertheless: Thriving in Chronic Illness – a devotional book comprised of letters of encouragement and hope from one friend to another to help each other in trusting God day after day. (This book will release January 2027 also from Abundance Books.)
I’ll post the links for pre-ordering both books and the videos as soon as I have them. The books will be available on Amazon and other major online book distributors. The videos will be available on a separate platform. More details are forthcoming.
Please make sure and keep watching the soul scientist posts for more information.
Finally, thank you, every one of YOU, for how you’ve prayed and supported me during studying, researching, writing, editing, and walking the floors trying to get the ideas from my head and heart onto the page or screen.
I am thankful for you.
I’d be delighted if you’d like for me to come to your group (either in-person or online) to talk about The Nevertheless Project. Please contact me directly at drbethmadison@outlook.com or use the Contact Me page here on the website.
If you’d like a signed book directly from me, also please contact me here or drbethmadison@outlook.com.
*If you’re going to be at the 2026 AACC meetings in Arlington, please stop by the Abundance Books display. It would be JOY to see you face-to-face and share hugs and smiles!
