Many of you have been so kind and gracious to let me know of your prayers and concern for my husband and I as we travel this wilderness of breast cancer together. Thank you and thanks be to our Good God for you!
I’m now home post-surgery and so glad to be here. We probably won’t know more of our Good God’s plan through this wilderness until the pathology results return sometime next week. But we do know this – our Good God has provided for needs and desires of our hearts in many lovely and surprising ways. He is indeed the lifter of our heads! And not only does He know everything about all of us and the challenges we might face for He is for us, with us, and in us, no matter what comes along. There is nothing too big or too small for our God.
Please know I’ve been praying for you and will continue. Isn’t it wonderful how our Good God has brought us together in heart even if we may never see each other outside of our heavenly home?
Here’s a verse for all of our journeys with Him as we look forward to His home for us:
Psalm 146:8 ESV
The Lord sets the prisoners free; the Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.
