Thank you, friends, for your encouragement and prayers to keep on with writing a children’s book. You spoke affirmation deep to the soil of my soul. Here’s another little poem for little ones that I hope will encourage you. Our Good God calls us to be as little children, no matter our age or place in life.
Matthew 19:14 CEV says
But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and don’t try to stop them! People who are like these children belong to God’s kingdom.”
Stop and listen little ones
Stop and learn what’s been done
Stop to watch and wait
Stop to pray in faith
Look for the truth said in love
Look for the wisdom from above
Look down in your heart’s place
Look there for hope and grace
Go on the path He makes for you
Go in mercies daily made new
Go with trust of His abiding
Go in faith for His providing
Learn only what is good
Learn deeply what you should
Learn His peace amidst the noise
Always learn, little girls and boys
Remember His love, little ones
Christ’s work is already done
You need only to believe
His grace awaits you to receive
