2 Corinthians 9:15 CEV Thank God for his gift [of Jesus] that is too wonderful for words!
We must not pass up any opportunity to proclaim the goodness of our Good God.
There are so many who need to hear truth spoken plainly and passionately, including ourselves and our families. (And the truth need always be spoken in a whole bunch of love!) We must always be looking and listening for times to tell how our Jesus is at work in our lives.
There’s much power to be seen in stories about lives changed, faith kept, and hope renewed. There’s much joy to be discovered in stories about the power of God and the plans of God made manifest in our dusty lives.
God doesn’t waste anything.
He doesn’t look away from any of us.
There is nothing that can stop our Good God.
With all that in mind, would you stop right now and pray for the gift of knowing and growing and going in the confidence of Christ? Christ’s confidence is given to us to proclaim our Good God’s power in this day to whomever He puts in front of us. And we can rely on this confidence to pray and to proclaim again tomorrow and every day to come until that glorious day of His appearing.
All of us need to hear the truth.
All of us need to grow in the truth.
All of us need to proclaim the truth.
The truth that Jesus always saves.
The truth that there is nowhere He isn’t.
The truth that there is no one beyond His reach.
The truth that there is nothing He can’t do.
For this scientist, that’s the kind of nothing that always makes everything into an opportunity for my Good God’s glory and the good of His people!
We all have daily opportunities to tell the truth of what God has done for us in Jesus. This truth can make every day into a Merry Christmas day. And telling that truth is the best gift anyone could ever give or receive, any day of the year!
