Dear Friends,
I’ve had all the good intentions to have something new just for you today. Yet life has demanded the time and energy for those intentions this week. So last night when I was trying to come up with today’s post, it hit me – there’s nothing better I could do than to pray for you. Please know I didn’t just write this prayer for you; I prayed it for you with many of your faces and names in mind.
Dear Father God,
Thank You that You’ve brought all of us here with purpose and for Your plans. Thank You that Your plans are always good because You are good. Thank You that You are long-suffering and faithful and unchanging. Thank You that You whisper peace and hope to my heart in sharp contrast to all the things screaming panic and helplessness. Thank You that You know us deep in the soil of our souls and You love us even there. Thank You that Your love is sure and strong and strengthening in joy.
Please help us to trust You in all things. Please give us vision into Your eternal kingdom far beyond what we can see today. Please help us hear Your voice speak truth and wisdom to our lives and then help us to speak this truth and wisdom to others. Please help us to be brave and courageous in all that we face today.
Thank You that You in us is greater than he who is in the world. Thank You that nothing is impossible for You. Thank You that nothing can separate us from Your love. Thank You that You keep all of Your promises all of the time.
in the strong Name of Jesus,
Amen.
